Aum Thiruvoth

Aum likes to photograph the emotional resonance space - linked to memory and the comfort & ache of time. Rooted in a documentary approach but guided by feeling, his images are often of the everyday landscape. Drawing on a personal history of movement and change, his practice reflects a search for presence—what remains felt even as the physical world shifts. Working instinctively, he sees photography as a medium to hold onto moments that echo the textures of memory. Less about explanation and more about evocation—an invitation to slow down, notice, and feel.

Aum currently lives in Waterloo Ontario and makes photograph around the Kitchener-Waterloo region and the Greater Toronto Region
